Busy times

It’s been a month and would be safe to say that a lot of stuff has happened.  That first mission on the Liberty II…could have gone better.  One of our team members was captured and severely wounded. We lost contact with her and were scared we wouldn’t be able to get her back until I figured out how to configure the sensors for visual locking to beam her out.  I haven’t seen her since, but they say she’s made a good recovery.

After a quick trip home for Life Day, I was back on the Liberty II for another mission that went much better.  Until I got kidnapped by Zared, an old friend we ran into on Nar Shaddaa.  (I know what you’re thinking: I need a bell around my neck.  I thought the same thing. Trust me.)

Luckily, I was only on his ship a couple of days before I got away and Cap’n Ian and Boss found me and slagged the guy.  That was kinda hard, but my ex-lover was going to sell me out to the Hutts for some stupid bounty on my head and he turned out to be the worst kind of person.  We had some good times back in the day and it was a shame to see him sunk so low…….

Enough about that.

Just realized that I hadn’t met Boss the last time I updated this thing. He works security on the ship and we got pretty close for a while there. He’s a good man - even sent Zared's widow a huge amount of credits so she could support the kids - and I’m awfully glad to call him my friend.   I was actually at his house hanging out and meeting his friends (he has some great friends!) when Rose comm’d me that Disco was sick.

Of course, I dropped everything and came home.  We’re hoping it’s just the flu, but I’ve put her to bed and taken over full-time Aunt duty.  Not that I mind at all. I miss my girls when I’m gone. They’re both getting so big and I swear Lily is gonna stand up and walk any day now.

Speaking of, they’re both up and I need to go cook breakfast. Poor kids. They’ll be glad to get their mom back just for decent food.
